He said that the story of Naina is that of Baba Mirin. This elder is now fifty-eight (85) and Bhola Chak is a resident of Nankana Sahib district. Just two kilometers away, a group of Sikhs attacked our caravan with guns and swords. In this attack, fifty Muslims of our village were killed on the spot, including my family members. And the Sikhs lifted our caravan to the twenty-eight women alive. Some women in the navy jumped in the well with their infant children to save their honor and embraced death in order to save their younger sister. Picked it up and fled on the spot and hid in a nearby crop.

In the village of sugarcane, three Muslim men from my village had taken shelter to save their lives. My younger sister was crying constantly for fear that we would not be killed by the Sikhs in search of sugarcane crop. I tried to strangle my younger sister. I was in love with my younger sister so I escaped from the sugarcane crop with my sister and went back to my village, Nain.

In Narayan Garh village, the survivors of my family found me injured. In those injured my grandfather took shelter in the mosque and said to the rest, ‘Leave me here as my only grandchild, my grandfather told me. My grandfather loved me very much during my last meeting with God. God intended to save this family, so a Sikh named Ala Singh, who took us to the camp in exchange for the jewelry of our women. The Sikh took responsibility for delivering not only jewelry but all our belongings to my family’s children. The litchi reached the camp or me and my family were in great pain and trauma but every family in the camp had sacrificed my family members like me. The people in this camp stayed in the camp for three days. During the two days I did not eat any food till the leaves of the trees, after three days, by military truck, the rest of the camp, including my family, were transferred to Walton Camp Lahore.

“Babamir Deen used to tell this story as well and I was forced to think what was the purpose of sacrificing my whole family at the time of my stay. Do the rulers and youths of my country understand these great founders?” If given the realization of what was given to the acquisition of this country, Pakistan would have been built on a welfare state like Madina.
